About me
My name is Arman Kanooni. I am an IT professional with experience in information systems delivery consulting, information management, and business/technology integration. I worked in small, medium, and large organizations implementing information systems solutions to solve business problems.
I worked in retails setting, technical services, federal government, and aerospace sector. The common tread among these diverse businesses is that each one needed the IT enable them to support their business processes and empower their employees to support the goals of the organizations to provide values to their customers. My resume shows you the detail of my works and positions held for last twenty years.
I believe in continual education to keep up with the latest technology and push the envelop toward other disciplines. I obtained my PhD in Organization and Management, with specialization in IT Management from Capella University. I have a Master of Science in Information Systems from Athabasca University, and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Quebec in Montreal.
I live in Seattle, Washington. I also lived in Montreal, Quebec and Ottawa, Ontario for many years. I stayed in France for couple of years. I am fluent in French, English and Persian. I enjoy traveling and visiting friends and family around the world. I like architecture, digital photography and developing websites.
